Warren Mallard
About the Managing Director
Warren Mallard comes from a law enforcement background, having spent 11 years of honourable service in the New South Wales Police Department. He was retired on medical grounds, resultant out of injuries sustained by him whilst in the execution of his duty. His passion for investigation continued however and in 1982 he helped establish Lyonswood Investigations , an investigation company which has grown over the past 33 years to be one of Australia's most respected and trusted private investigation and forensic investigation companies.
During the last 33 years, Warren Mallard has held the position of President in three Australian National representative private investigation industry bodies and is regularly called upon to represent the private investigation industry in matters of legislative review, dispute and mediation. He is a staunch advocate of the benefits of the private investigation/ private detective industry to the community and to this end has taken a very high profile with Government and is regularly called upon by the media as an expert in his fields of private investigation and security. Recently Warren was invited by the Coroner's Office to assist in an investigation.
Warren Mallard holds the highest Government Qualification for the investigation industry, Certificate (iv) Investigative Services and Advanced Diploma Security (Risk Management) from the Canberra Institute Of Technology and is the holder of a Security Protection Industry Act Master License. He is also the holder of a Class 2A Security Consultants license and a Private Investigators Master and Operative License. No. 409413353. Although these qualifications stand alone, he believes that furtherance of expertise and qualifications is paramount and he regularly attends industry body seminars to increase his knowledge so that he can in turn up skill his investigation staff.
His pursuit of excellence in the detection and prevention of crime and the furtherance of the private investigation/private detective industry is well documented (see media articles and television appearances) and although he no longer serves as a New South Wales Policeman, he has been awarded three times by Commissioners Of Police since retirement from the N.S.W. Police, for acts of bravery and assistance to the police whilst operating as a private investigator/private detective.
This on-going relationship with the police allows for the best chance of a smooth conduit to justice for the clients of Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group in matters where the police need to be involved. Warren strives for and holds great expectations that one day the police forces of Australia will come to see that the private investigation/ private detective sector can complement the government law enforcement sectors and work together towards a common goal, the detection and prevention of crime.
Warren can be contacted 24 hours in urgent matters and is across all matters that Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group handles on behalf of its extensive client base.
Warren's 44 years of combined police and private investigation industry experience has placed Lyonswood in a very strategic position to assist clients in a very broad cross section of investigative skill sets.
