For instance, a matrimonial, infidelity surveillance investigation is at the lower end of the scale  compared to an investigation in relation to forensic computer data analysis in an alleged fraud matter which may be at the top end of the private  investigation costs scale. The degree of investigative expertise and training/qualifications varies from investigation skill set to investigation skill set. No matter your requirement we are certain to have investigated similar matters and thus have investigators with experience in that particular area.At Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group,  the majority of private investigation/ private detective services cost less per hour than having your car repaired at a mechanical workshop or a television repaired at an electrical service center. Its not the hourly rate alone that ought to be considered when selecting a private investigation/ private detective company to act on your behalf, it's the competency, reputation and qualifications and the time it takes to plan a strategy to bring about a successful resolution to the investigation and one that has the best chance of achieving the client's expectations that are paramount. Time equates to money, planning equates to success and reduction in money.

A private investigation cannot be competently carried out unless intelligence is gathered and a strategy is formed in concert with the client and the clients wishes and expectations. This investigation strategic planning is designed to reduce the hours expended and at the same time, maximize the potential of a preferred outcome. An unplanned private investigation that runs for 40 hours at a rate of $60.00 per hour, costs the consumer considerably more than a private investigation that can, with planning, be executed in half that time at $80.00 per hour.

To this end, unless otherwise agreed, we provide you with an initial interview of one hour's duration, absolutely obligation and cost free. If you are unable to attend or are interstate or perhaps don't wish to attend for personal reasons then we can conduct this phase of the investigation via email, fax or on the phone.

This interview is designed to allow you as a potential client,  to familiarize yourself with our private investigation management team and our qualifications and expertise. This in turn allows our investigations management team to understand your requirements and expected outcomes. Remember, a well-planned private investigation has the best chance of success.

When you decide to enlist the services of Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group, we can provide you with a written agreement, which binds Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group to your budgetary requirements. Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group cannot exceed this budget without your consent.

It is normal practice to obtain a retainer of 50% of the agreed budget, the balance being payable upon completion of the job and the preparation of a detailed report of our investigation findings. You should never pay the full amount until you are satisfied the investigation has been carried out in compliance with your instructions, budget and contract.

Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group does not guarantee a predetermined result. Too many unknown factors exist within an investigation. However, we do guarantee to conduct the investigation in a professional and competent manner. Be cautious of an investigator who advertises 'RESULTS GUARANTEED'. It means exactly what it says. A result can be negative or positive. It doesn't mean PROOF GUARANTEED.

 Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group is bound by an Investigation Industry representative body code of ethics and conduct ( Institute Of Mercantile Agents I.M.A.)  and holds the highest level of competency through The Canberra Institute of Technology (Certificate iv).

We are one of the only private investigation companies in the Investigation and Forensic Industry who when asked, provide their clients with a contract in writing and in line with your instructions and budgetary constraints. This contract protects both parties and sets the ground for a professional and lawful investigation with a minimum of risk for both parties. We are happy to move forward without a contract if you wish.

Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group's   team are good communicators and keep you abreast of  investigations developments and the shifting landscape throughout the investigation so that you might make informed decisions and either cease or extend the investigation dependant upon what those changes might dictate.
